In 2013, there were more air passengers, more guests, more overnight stays, more income, more rounds of golf played… in fact there was more of everything in the Algarve, resulting in a record year for the region’s tourist industry.  What’s more, the Algarve was the top destination in Portugal, attracting well over a third of all the overnight stays. With tourist revenues up around 6% in the first quarter of 2014 and tourism chief, Desiderio Silva, predicting another bumper year, what better time to consider investing in a hotel.
