This year’s International Algarve Fair is just under two weeks away!

“Love Portugal” is the theme chosen for the 2013 event and there will be something for everyone to love at the Fair. Visitors will enjoy a huge variety of entertainment from music and special events to a Fun Zone to keep the kids amused. Plus, there will be over 100 stands to browse and Meravista will be one of them!
Tails will be wagging
The Fair wouldn’t be complete without the annual Algarve Dog Show, which has become one of the main attractions. This year, organiser Paws 4 Pets has secured an International judge. But the dog show is not just for four-legged pedigrees, it’s open to pure breeds and mix-bred pooches alike – everyone (and his dog!) can join the fun. There are special classes for young handlers and even a class for the waggiest tail. What’s more, proceeds of the show will go to help the Friends of Canil de Portimão, to give dogs in their care a better life.
Don’t forget to bring a lead and vaccination book, oh, and your dog of course! You can enter as many classes as you want. Classes are 3€ each or 5 for the price of 4 (12€).
Bid on Meravista’s lot for charity!
Auction House Algarve will be running an auction at the show and Meravista is taking part. We are putting together a super doggy hamper of top dog goodies including a doggy basket, bowls, toys, treats and chews, a bag of food, a leash and collar. Our hamper will be auctioned off and the proceeds donated to SOS Algarve Animals.
