The 2013 Better Living in Portugal exhibition is taking place over the weekend of 5th and 6th October at Portimão Arena.
There’s never been a more important time for businesses in the Algarve to promote their products and services and BLiP provides the perfect forum for just that. 2013 will be 13th year that afpop has hosted the event, which attracts thousands of visitors of all nationalities.
Exhibitors
There will be an interesting range of exhibitors, from home and garden improvement companies and solutions for TV, radio and broadband, to eco electric bike rentals and international removal firms. Oh, and real estate too of course! Local artisans will be showing their work in the Tourism section and there will be a shopping area, where visitors can browse and buy products.
On stand 63, Meravista will be showing visitors how to search for their perfect home in the Algarve. Plus, there will be a chance to win a case of fine Portuguese wine by guessing the number of Meravista goodies in the jar. For those who came to the International Algarve fair and fell in love with Meravista’s delicious Texas Tollhouse Cookies, here is your chance to tickle your taste buds again – yes, we will be sharing our signature cookies again. And don’t forget you can take away a few Meravista freebies too!
If you run a business in the Algarve with a product or service to offer, there may be some stand space left, so why not join us? Details and prices can be found on the BLiP website. Note that the price of a stall in the shopping area has been reduced, so if you have a product to sell, the deal just got better!
Visitors
For visitors wishing to relax and have a bite to eat, there’s an on-site restaurant. Alternatively the arena’s coffee area is an ideal place to rest weary feet while taking in the surroundings. There is also a professionally staffed children’s area, so you can take your time enjoying the expo, knowing your kids are entertained and in safe hands.
This year’s show is being supported by the regional tourist board, Turismo do Algarve. They will be supporting the event and also showcasing their work, to raise the profile of the region as a great holiday destination as well as promoting why the Algarve is a fantastic location to live.
The exhibition opens at 10am on Saturday 5th and closes at 6pm. Opening times on Sunday are 11am to 5pm.
